Kuala Lumpur Zine Fest & Distro Day Out 2013

Kuala Lumpur Zine Fest & Distro Day Out 2013 was held at MIA Art Centre, on July 6th, the international zine month. It was a success compared to last year's. Many collectives, distro and small book publishers tabled at the fest. There was a booth that sold comic zine/indie comic/comix and also do live caricature. They call themselves Geng Gelabah. A lot of poetry zines plus some hc/punk and literature zines. Where's the metal music zines? 

The acoustic performances started at around 3 pm. Among the music acts were; Orkes Rakyat Tertindas, Melantaq, Dum Dum Tak, Francis Wolf, Nik Jidan, Minuly, Nabil Nazmi and Simfoni Ketiak Beracun. This followed by poem recitations by Pyanhabib, Pak Lang, John D'Madman, Nizang, Man Dugong and a few others.
